About the Role

Our client, a highly innovative and venture-backed startup disrupting the FinTech space, is seeking a visionary and experienced Remote Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead their technology strategy and execution. This is a crucial executive leadership role within a fully remote organization. You will be responsible for defining the company's technological vision, overseeing all aspects of technology development, infrastructure, and R&D, and ensuring that technology drives business growth and innovation. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of emerging technologies, scalable systems, cybersecurity, and agile development methodologies. You will build and lead a world-class engineering team, foster a culture of technical excellence, and guide the company through its next phase of rapid expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company's overall technology strategy, vision, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and scale the engineering, product development, and IT operations teams.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with significant experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar senior executive position.
• Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Deep expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), and cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of the FinTech landscape, blockchain technology, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, effective in a remote setting.
• Experience in managing budgets and working with venture capital or private equity investors.
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and manage complex technical projects.
