Qualifications

• 15+ years in mine engineering and operations leadership.
• Experience overseeing large-scale mining projects from conception to closure.
• Strong knowledge of open-pit and/or underground mining methods and technologies.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs in mining operations.
• Excellent communication and remote leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and planning of new mine developments and optimize existing operations.
• Develop and implement mine strategies, production plans, and capex budgets.
• Ensure safety, environmental compliance and operational efficiency.
• Mentor a diverse, globally distributed team of engineers, surveyors and geologists.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical reviews for mining projects.
• Stay abreast of technological advancements in mining.
