Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• 6+ years of experience in chemical process engineering focusing on optimization.
• Expertise in advanced process control, statistical analysis and data science techniques.
• Proficiency with simulation software and data analysis platforms (Python, R, MATLAB).
• Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in industrial processes.
• Excellent virtual communication and remote project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex process data to identify and quantify optimization opportunities in yield, energy, and throughput.
• Develop and implement advanced process control strategies and optimization models.
• Utilize process simulation and modeling tools to test and validate optimization scenarios.
• Collaborate virtually with site engineers and operations teams to implement and monitor improvements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
