Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in chemical process engineering with emphasis on monitoring and optimization.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks remotely.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of chemical plant operations, safety, and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze process performance data from multiple plant locations remotely.
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes for yield, energy efficiency, and waste reduction.
- Troubleshoot process upsets and provide remote support to plant operations teams.
- Develop process improvements and create PFDs and P&IDs as needed.
- Support design and execution of capital projects from a remote engineering standpoint.
- Ensure designs comply with safety and environmental regulations.
