Placements24 is seeking a remote Catering Operations Assistant to support our catering services from Bloemfontein. This part-time, fully remote role focuses on administrative and logistical tasks to keep events running smoothly.

You will coordinate event schedules, liaise with suppliers, process orders and maintain records, while communicating effectively with the team in a virtual environment to deliver high-quality catering experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative, operations, or customer service role.
• Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, particularly in remote settings.
• Proficiency with standard office software and communication tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication for effective remote teamwork.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and prioritize workload efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate catering event logistics, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Support the processing of catering orders and liaise with suppliers for timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, client details, and operational expenses.
• Provide administrative support for event planning and execution, responding to inquiries promptly.
• Assist in generating reports on catering operations, sales, and inventory levels.
