Placements24 is seeking a creative, client-focused Remote Catering Event Planner to join our team. In this fully remote role, you will design, plan, and execute catering events for a diverse clientele, tailoring menus and managing the project from consultation to flawless execution.

You will work with clients, the culinary team, and suppliers to ensure seamless events. Excellent communication, organization, and remote collaboration skills are essential to balance multiple bookings and budgets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an event planner, preferably catering or F&B.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
• Proficiency with event planning software, CRM systems, and virtual communication tools.
• Creative flair for menu design and event conceptualization.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
• Develop customized catering proposals, including menu selections, service styles, and logistical plans.
• Coordinate all event details, liaising with the culinary team, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless execution.
• Manage event timelines and budgets effectively, ensuring all objectives are met within scope.
• Oversee on-site event setup and service, ensuring a high standard of presentation and guest satisfaction (may involve occasional site visits or remote supervision).
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the planning or execution phases of an event.
