Placements24 is seeking a reliable Virtual Catering Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the catering team. This remote, part-time role focuses on event coordination, client communication, and handling daily admin tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

You will assist with proposals, calendars, inquiries, and data management, supporting sales and operations with timely follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative or customer service experience, preferably in a remote or office setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of catering proposals, contracts, and client confirmation documents.
• Manage event calendars, schedule client consultations, and coordinate meeting logistics.
• Respond to general inquiries via email and phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Help maintain client databases and update records with accurate information.
• Support the event planning team with research on venues, suppliers, and menu options.
• Handle general administrative duties, including data entry, document organization, and follow-up communications.
