Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Control and Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer to design, implement, and support advanced control and instrumentation systems for industrial clients in Centurion. You will work on PLC, DCS, and SCADA solutions, select instrumentation, and develop robust control strategies while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 6 years in control & instrumentation engineering in industrial automation.
- Proficiency with PLC/DCS programming (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider).
- Experience with SCADA and HMI development tools.
- Strong knowledge of process control loops and tuning.
- Familiarity with instrumentation calibration and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Design control system architectures (PLC, DCS, SCADA) per client specs.
- Select sensors, transmitters, valves, and analytical equipment.
- Develop and debug PLC/DCS logic and HMI/SCADA screens.
- Create engineering docs: P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring schedules, FDS.
- Perform FAT/SAT for control systems and instrumentation packages.
- Provide on-site/remote support during installation and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot control systems, instrumentation, and automation issues.
- Collaborate with clients to translate requirements into control strategies.
