About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking management consultancy, is seeking a dedicated Business Process Optimization Specialist to join their fully remote team. This role will focus on analyzing, designing, and implementing improvements to business processes for clients across various sectors, primarily serving organizations in and around Mossel Bay, Western Cape , but with a fully remote operational setup. You will be responsible for identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for automation within client operations, translating these findings into practical and sustainable process improvements. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders through virtual channels. As a remote-first professional, you will leverage digital tools and methodologies to drive operational excellence for our client's diverse customer base. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in business process analysis, re-engineering, or optimization.
• Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and workflow automation concepts.
• Excellent virtual communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with remote clients and teams.
• Self-motivated and disciplined, with a proven ability to manage workload and deadlines independently.
• Experience working in a remote capacity is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with industries relevant to the Western Cape region is a plus.
