Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Building Maintenance Coordinator to oversee maintenance operations and vendor coordination for properties near Soweto. This fully remote role focuses on managing schedules, dispatching vendors, and resolving issues from a home office.

You will ensure facilities are safe and operational, coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a related coordination role.
• Strong understanding of general building systems and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks remotely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance and repair services for building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Dispatch and manage third-party vendors and contractors for on-site work orders.
• Monitor service requests and ensure timely and effective resolution of maintenance issues.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, invoices, and vendor performance.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize future issues.
• Communicate effectively with property managers, vendors, and internal teams regarding maintenance status.
