Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Communications Officer to develop and disseminate engaging content across platforms while managing internal and external communications. The role supports the company’s communication strategy and brand visibility, with a remote work setup for a distributed team.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–3 years in communications, PR or marketing, with strong writing and CMS experience to drive consistent messaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in communications, PR or marketing.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with adaptable tone.
• Proficiency with social media management tools and content creation platforms.
• Experience with website CMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication plans aligned with brand messaging.
• Create, edit and publish content for websites, social media, newsletters, and internal communications.
• Manage the company's social media presence and engage with the community.
• Support planning and execution of campaigns and events.
• Draft press releases, speeches and other materials.
• Monitor media coverage and online conversations relevant to the company.
