Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to lead internal and external communications. This fully remote role focuses on strategic messaging, media relations, and stakeholder engagement to strengthen brand reputation and drive business objectives.

You will develop comprehensive communication plans, oversee press materials, and mentor a team of communication specialists while staying ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a Communications Manager or senior communications role.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in crafting compelling narratives.
• Strong media relations skills and experience in crisis communications management.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic communications plan aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee external and internal communications, including press releases, speeches, newsletters, and social media content.
• Manage media relations, seeking opportunities for positive coverage and responding to inquiries.
• Develop and implement crisis communication plans and act as a spokesperson when required.
• Manage and mentor a team of communication specialists, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to keep strategies innovative and effective.
