Placements24 is seeking a Brand Communications Officer to join our client’s team. This fully remote role supports Stellenbosch operations while maintaining cohesive brand messaging across channels, crafting narratives, managing brand assets, and aligning communications with marketing goals.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Communications/Marketing, 3+ years in brand management, exceptional writing, and a strategic mindset to elevate brand perception and engagement from anywhere.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in brand management, communications, or marketing roles.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio.
• Proven ability to develop and execute communication strategies.
• Familiarity with brand management principles and digital communication tools.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement brand communication strategies that enhance brand visibility and perception.
• Create compelling and on-brand content for various platforms including website, social media, email, and internal communications.
• Manage the company's brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in all messaging and visual representation.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure cohesive brand storytelling.
• Monitor brand mentions and public sentiment across various channels, responding appropriately.
