Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a remote BIM Specialist to join a global construction technology team. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and managing BIM standards and workflows to support construction projects from anywhere in South Africa.

You will coordinate detailed BIM models (architectural, structural, and MEP), perform clash detection, generate reports, and train project teams. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of BIM experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD).
• Proven ability to create and manage complex BIM models across disciplines.
• Strong understanding of BIM processes, clash detection, and coordination workflows.
• Excellent communication for remote collaboration.
