Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proficient BIM Coordinator to join a fully remote team, supporting projects nationwide including the Northern Cape. You will manage and coordinate Building Information Models throughout the project lifecycle, champion BIM best practices, troubleshoot issues, and facilitate efficient data exchange.

This remote-first role offers flexibility, exposure to diverse architectural and engineering projects, and opportunities for continuous training within a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM coordination/management experience.
• Proficient in Revit and Navisworks; knowledge of design disciplines.
• Experience with collaborative cloud-based BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM models from consultants and project teams.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts.
• Ensure BIM models meet project standards and client requirements.
• Facilitate data exchange among stakeholders via BIM platforms.
• Develop and maintain BIM execution plans and templates.
• Provide guidance on BIM software and workflows.
