Placements24 is seeking a proficient BIM Coordinator to join a fully remote team, supporting projects nationwide including the Northern Cape. You will manage and coordinate Building Information Models throughout the project lifecycle, champion BIM best practices, troubleshoot issues, and facilitate efficient data exchange.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM coordination/management experience.
• Proficient in Revit and Navisworks; knowledge of design disciplines.
• Experience with collaborative cloud-based BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient BIM Coordinator to join their fully remote team, supporting projects across the nation, including in the Northern Cape region. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and coordinating Building Information Models throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring seamless collaboration between design and construction teams. You will champion BIM best practices, troubleshoot model issues, and facilitate efficient data exchange. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate BIM models from consultants and project teams.

• Develop and maintain BIM execution plans and project templates.
• Provide support and guidance to project teams on BIM software and workflows.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM coordination or management.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and Navisworks is essential.
• Understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with collaborative workflows and cloud-based BIM platforms.
