Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an innovative BIM Coordinator to join a fully remote team delivering sustainable construction projects. You will develop, implement, and manage BIM processes across a diverse portfolio, driving collaboration between design and construction teams through advanced digital models.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in BIM coordination, strong Revit/Navisworks/AutoCAD skills, and a proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, with knowledge of ISO 19650

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM coordination.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD.
• Solid understanding of BIM concepts and ISO 19650.
• Experience with clash detection and 4D/5D BIM is desirable.
• Excellent remote teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of LEED/Green Star is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and execution plans for various projects.
• Create, manage, and coordinate detailed 3D models using BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
• Facilitate clash detection and resolution between different building systems (structural, MEP, architectural).
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across all project models and documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to support integrated project delivery.
• Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
• Generate reports and visualizations from BIM models for design reviews and progress monitoring.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in BIM technology and sustainable construction practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM workflows and company processes.
