Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a remote BIM Specialist to lead BIM strategies across diverse construction projects, enhance design coordination, and improve constructability through digital workflows. This role is fully remote with collaboration across distributed teams.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in an AEC field and 5+ years of BIM coordination experience, plus proficiency in Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360. ISO 19650 knowledge is preferred for standardised workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM coordination and management experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650) and workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage BIM execution plans (BEPs) for diverse construction projects.
• Create, manage, and maintain BIM models at various project stages (LOD 100-500).
• Conduct clash detection and coordination meetings using BIM software.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners remotely.
• Ensure adherence to BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
• Develop and deliver BIM training and support to project teams.
• Extract information from BIM models for cost estimation, scheduling and quantity take-offs.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital workflows and BIM processes.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in BIM technology and software.
• Support the development and implementation of federated models.
