Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote BIM Coordinator to support a nationwide portfolio of construction projects. The role focuses on BIM execution, model coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, and regular clash detection using Navisworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a BIM-focused role, with at least 2 years as a BIM Coordinator.
• Proficiency with BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards and ISO 19650.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM execution plans for various construction projects.
• Coordinate and manage BIM models from different disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) to ensure model integrity and clash detection.
• Perform regular clash detection analysis using Navisworks or similar software and generate clash reports.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings with project stakeholders virtually, documenting outcomes and action items.
• Ensure that all models and documentation comply with company standards and project-specific BIM requirements.
• Provide technical support and training on BIM software and workflows to project teams.
• Manage the BIM content library and ensure adherence to standards for families and objects.
• Extract data and generate reports from BIM models for progress tracking, quantity take-offs, and analysis.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in BIM technology and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure BIM deliverables are met on schedule.
