Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote BIM Coordinator to join their construction technology team. This fully remote role targets delivery of BIM standards and workflows nationwide within South Africa, from design through handover.

You will work with Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD to manage models, perform clash checks, and support project teams with BIM training and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator, BIM Modeler, or similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of BIM execution plans and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote team environment.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce BIM standards, templates, and protocols for all project stakeholders.
• Manage and coordinate the creation and integration of BIM models from various disciplines.
• Conduct regular clash detection and model quality checks, providing reports and solutions.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams using BIM platforms and technologies.
• Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
