Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled BIM Architect to lead BIM modeling and coordination for architectural projects on a fully remote team. You will develop BIM workflows, implement BEPs, run clash detection, and produce construction documents with a strong focus on accuracy and international collaboration.

The role requires 6+ years in BIM for architecture, expert Revit, Navisworks experience, and familiarity with ISO 19650.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in BIM modeling and coordination, with a focus on architectural projects.
• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit is mandatory.
• Experience with Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection and model aggregation.
• Understanding of BIM standards and protocols, such as ISO 19650, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage BIM models for architectural projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Create and maintain BIM execution plans (BEPs) in coordination with project teams.
• Conduct clash detection analysis using Navisworks and other relevant tools.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to facilitate efficient information exchange.
• Generate 3D visualizations and construction documentation from BIM models.
• Provide technical support and training on BIM software and workflows to project teams.
• Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies, software updates, and industry best practices.
• Assist in the development and standardization of BIM content libraries.
• Ensure smooth coordination and communication among remote project team members regarding BIM aspects.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the firm's BIM protocols.
