Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Lead BIM Coordinator to join a fully remote team. The role focuses on spearheading BIM strategy development and implementation across a diverse project portfolio, operating from anywhere with emphasis on virtual collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of BIM coordination experience, expert proficiency in Revit/Navisworks/AutoCAD, and a track record of leading BEPs in remote or hybrid settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in BIM coordination and management.
• Expert proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of 3D modeling, clash detection, and model federation processes.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes and sequencing across multiple disciplines.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams in a remote or hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of BIM execution plans for various construction projects.
• Establish and maintain BIM standards, workflows, and best practices for the organization.
• Coordinate and manage BIM models from various disciplines (architecture, structure, MEP, etc.) to ensure clash detection and model integrity.
• Provide technical leadership and support to BIM technicians and project teams worldwide.
• Conduct regular model reviews, identify design issues, and facilitate resolution through collaborative platforms.
• Oversee the creation and management of the project model database, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
• Develop and deliver BIM training programs to internal staff and external stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of emerging BIM technologies and trends, and recommend adoption where appropriate.
• Manage the handover of BIM models and data at project completion.
• Facilitate virtual collaboration sessions and ensure effective communication among distributed project teams.
