Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is looking for Sales Development Representatives to cover South Africa, with a fully remote role based in South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, identifying decision makers and booking meetings, while maintaining clean Salesforce and SalesLoft records.

You will craft personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone, use tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo, and work to hit volume goals without sacrificing touch

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalise outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
