Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors across South Africa, drive the sales pipeline, and book qualified meetings with decision makers. You will own the top of the funnel, researching ideal accounts, identifying partners, and crafting tailored outreach campaigns.

In this remote SA role, you’ll maintain CRM hygiene in Salesforce and SalesLoft, test messaging, and collaborate closely with Account Executives to create momentum and early-stage opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role (agency or SaaS experience a plus).
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
