Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives to drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own top-of-funnel activities, researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers to create the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This role emphasizes thoughtful outreach, leveraging tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to achieve volume targets while maintaining high-quality engagement.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred.
• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
