Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Aviation Compliance Specialist to join our remote operations team. You will ensure that all aviation activities comply with SACAA, EASA, FAA and other standards, and you will develop, implement and monitor compliance programs across the organization.

This fully remote role requires meticulous documentation, internal audits, and clear reporting to management. You will train staff, stay abreast of regulatory changes, and prepare for external inspections

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in aviation compliance, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant aviation regulations and standards.
• Experience with auditing procedures and corrective action management.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs to ensure adherence to aviation regulations (e.g., SACAA, EASA, FAA).
• Conduct regular internal audits and assessments of operational procedures, safety protocols, and documentation to identify areas of non-compliance.
• Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and documentation to aviation authorities.
• Stay updated on changes in aviation legislation, regulations, and industry best practices, advising management accordingly.
• Assist in the preparation for external regulatory inspections and audits.
• Develop and deliver compliance training to relevant personnel.
