Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Automotive Systems Engineer to join an advanced engineering team on a fully remote basis. The role focuses on integration, development, and validation of complex automotive systems, including electrical, electronic, and software components.

You will work on cutting-edge projects with distributed teams to innovate future mobility solutions. The candidate should have strong experience in automotive networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), requirement management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as an Automotive Systems Engineer or similar role involving complex system integration.
• Strong understanding of automotive networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and embedded systems.
• Experience with requirement management tools (DOORS) and system modeling (SysML).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fully remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Define system requirements and architecture for automotive electrical and electronic systems.
• Develop and validate system integration strategies, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
• Manage system-level requirements using tools such as DOORS or similar.
• Perform system-level testing and troubleshooting, both remotely and coordinating with on-site teams.
• Collaborate with component suppliers and internal teams to resolve integration issues.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including system specifications, test plans, and reports.
