Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Electrical Engineer to join their innovative team, with responsibilities spanning design, development, and integration of complex electrical systems for automotive applications in a remote-work setup.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure ECUs and wiring harnesses meet performance targets, apply ECAD tools, and stay abreast of CAN/LIN/Ethernet protocols and evolving vehicle electrification trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of automotive electrical system design experience.
• Proficiency with ECAD software (Altium, Mentor) and simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive electrical systems and wiring harnesses.
• Create schematics and diagrams using ECAD tools.
• Integrate and validate ECUs within the vehicle network.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems; resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; stay current on trends.
