Placements24 seeks a seasoned Remote Automotive Quality Assurance Lead to oversee QA for automotive electronic products from a home office. You will shape QA strategies, manage a distributed team of QA engineers, and drive defect resolution with development teams to ensure top-tier reliability.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or CS, 8+ years in QA with 3+ in leadership, and experience in automotive electronics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
• 8+ years in quality assurance, with at least 3 years in lead/management role
• Proven automotive industry experience and understanding of automotive electronic systems
• Experience developing and executing comprehensive QA strategies for complex products
• Proficiency with testing methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, test management)
• Experience with embedded systems testing and HIL is a plus

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement QA strategies for automotive electronic products
• Lead and mentor a remote team of QA engineers
• Define test plans, test cases, and procedures based on requirements
• Oversee functional, integration, system, regression and performance testing
• Identify, document, and track defects; drive timely resolutions
• Collaborate with development teams to improve product quality
• Analyze results and report on quality readiness and risk
• Stay updated with IATF 16949 and QA best practices
• Participate in design reviews to input on quality considerations
