Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of mechanical design experience in automotive components.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX) and experience with PDM/PLM systems.
• Solid understanding of automotive systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with simulation tools (FEA) for stress, thermal, and vibration analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and meet deadlines remotely.
• Familiarity with automotive industry standards and best practices.
• Passion for automotive technology and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for automotive applications using advanced 3D CAD software.
• Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Perform kinematic, dynamic, and stress analysis using simulation tools to optimize designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
• Participate in virtual design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot design issues and implement reliable improvements.
• Ensure designs comply with automotive standards (IATF 16949) and customer requirements.
• Stay informed about trends and technologies in automotive mechanical design.
• Prepare technical documentation and project updates.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
