Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Automotive Electrical Engineer to join their innovative team, operating primarily remotely. You will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of complex electrical systems and components for cutting-edge vehicles. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive electrical architectures, power distribution, wiring harnesses, and electronic control units (ECUs). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and optimal performance of electrical systems, contributing to the advanced features of next-generation automobiles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, sensors, and wiring harnesses, for automotive applications.
• Create detailed schematics, diagrams, and documentation using electrical design software (e.g., ECAD tools).
• Integrate and validate electronic control units (ECUs) and ensure their proper functioning within the vehicle's electrical network.
• Perform electrical system testing and troubleshooting, analyzing issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers, and product designers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in automotive electrical systems, including electrification and autonomous driving technologies.
