Placements24 is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide expert remote maintenance and support for automated industrial machinery from a location of your choice. You will diagnose, guide on-site personnel, and develop remote documentation to ensure optimal system performance across diverse clients.

The role requires 4+ years of experience with mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including PLCs and HMIs, and proficiency in remote diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Requires a technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated industrial machinery.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems (PLCs, HMIs).
• Proficiency with remote diagnostic tools and software.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical assistance and troubleshooting for automated industrial equipment and systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using remote monitoring tools and diagnostic software.
• Guide on-site personnel through troubleshooting and repair procedures.
• Develop and maintain remote support documentation, including guides and best practices.
• Monitor equipment performance data and identify potential issues proactively.
• Advise clients on preventative maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Analyze failure trends and recommend system improvements to clients.
• Maintain detailed logs of all remote support interactions and resolutions.
• Stay current with advancements in automation technology and remote support methodologies.
