Placements24 is seeking a Remote Air Traffic Control Systems Engineer to design, integrate, test, and maintain advanced ATC systems from a home office. You will work with a world-class engineering team to ensure safe and efficient global air traffic flow, applying robust real-time systems engineering and regulatory understanding.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years experience in systems engineering with focus on ATC or aerospace comms/navigation.
• Proven expertise in designing, integrating, and testing complex real-time systems.
• Knowledge of radar principles, comms (VHF/UHF), surveillance tech (ADS-B, Mode S), and navigation aids (ILS, GPS).
• Familiarity with ATC standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in systems engineering tools (DOORS, SysML) and simulation software.

• Design and architect ATC systems with emphasis on reliability, scalability and security.
• Develop integration plans and oversee implementation of new ATC technologies.
• Conduct system performance analyses and optimize bottlenecks.
• Define system requirements based on ops needs and regulatory standards.
• Develop and execute test plans for validation including simulations and live tests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues for operations teams.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams for seamless integration.
• Prepare design specs, user manuals and maintenance procedures.
• Monitor system health and implement proactive measures to prevent failures.
• Stay updated with advancements in ATC tech, radar, comms, and surveillance.
