Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Air Traffic Controller for a fully remote role focused on developing remote pilot training programs and overseeing simulated flight environments. The role requires a license with 10+ years of experience, mentoring junior controllers, and strong knowledge of ATC procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Air Traffic Controller license with 10+ years of experience.
• Experience in training or mentoring junior controllers.
• Strong knowledge of ATC procedures, regulations, and comms protocols.
• Ability to manage complex airspace and traffic scenarios.
• Familiarity with aviation simulation technologies for training.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Aviation Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver remote training modules for ATC simulation and pilot training.
• Oversee and manage simulated air traffic environments with realism and standard procedures.
• Provide expert guidance and feedback to trainees during simulated scenarios.
• Develop and refine SOPs for remote training environments.
• Collaborate with technology teams to improve simulation fidelity and training effectiveness.
• Monitor trainee progress and performance with detailed assessments.
• Stay updated on evolving ATC technologies and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and training standards.
• Maintain detailed records of training activities and outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the remote pilot training program.
