Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an expert Aircraft Systems Specialist to join a fully remote team focused on design, development, integration, and testing of advanced aircraft systems. You will ensure performance, safety, and reliability while working with distributed teams on cutting-edge aviation technology.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of avionics, flight controls, power distribution and environmental control systems, and proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and ANSYS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in design, integration and testing of aircraft systems.
• Strong knowledge of avionic, flight control, power distribution, and environmental control systems.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and ANSYS for simulations and analyses.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate complex aircraft systems including avionics, flight controls, power systems and environmental controls.
• Conduct thorough system analysis, simulations, and performance testing for compliance with aviation standards.
• Collaborate with cross functional remote teams to deliver integrated system solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design challenges through remote diagnostics and virtual collaboration.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, test results, and design review reports.
• Stay abreast of aerospace tech advances and propose innovative solutions.
• Contribute to improvement of system design processes and methodologies.
• Ensure all designs adhere to aviation regulations and safety protocols.
• Provide technical guidance to team members in a remote capacity.
