Job summary

Somewhere is seeking a Client Development Specialist to generate new business opportunities by communicating the value of our services and scheduling 15-minute Strategy appointments for lead advisors, all in a remote, independent contractor capacity.

The role requires outbound calling from provided lead lists, CRM record-keeping, and consistent achievement of appointment-setting targets across South Africa and Latin America markets.

Qualifications

• Experience as an appointment setter or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication with a confident phone presence.
• Able to build rapport quickly over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients from provided lead lists or databases.
• Engage in professional and persuasive conversations to encourage set and kept appointments.
• Clearly communicate the features, benefits and value proposition of our services to prospects.
• Schedule appointments for the lead advisors based on availability and prospect preferences.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions, appointments scheduled, and follow-up activities in CRM software.
• Follow established processes and procedures for all lead channels and outbound efforts.
• Continuously update knowledge about industry trends, competitors' offerings, and market conditions relevant to our products/services.
• Meet or exceed daily/weekly targets for appointment setting activity.
