Job summary

You will design, develop, and validate high‑fidelity flight simulation models and training scenarios for pilots and technicians, working with software and hardware teams in a fully remote setting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years in aircraft systems engineering or aviation training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft systems engineering, simulation, or aviation training development.
• Strong understanding of aircraft flight dynamics, control systems, avionics, and power plant systems.
• Proficiency with simulation software platforms (e.g., X-Plane, FlightGear, custom simulators) and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
• Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
• Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate remotely.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear technical documentation and interaction.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering engaging and effective training solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate flight simulation models for various aircraft systems, ensuring high fidelity and accuracy.
• Create and refine training scenarios and exercises that effectively address learning objectives for pilots and technicians.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate simulation models and features into training platforms.
• Conduct performance analysis and troubleshooting of simulation systems, identifying and resolving issues.
• Develop technical documentation, including user manuals, system specifications, and training materials.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in aviation simulation technology and training methodologies.
• Participate in customer meetings and provide technical support for simulation and training solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of simulation fidelity and training effectiveness.
• Ensure all developed solutions meet rigorous aviation standards and certification requirements.
• Manage project tasks and timelines effectively in a remote setting.
