Job summary

Our client in Mpumalanga is seeking a highly experienced Remote Aircraft Systems Engineer to support design, analysis, integration, and testing of aircraft systems from a remote location. You will focus on ensuring performance, safety, and regulatory compliance across subsystems.

The role requires expertise in avionics, hydraulics, electrical, and propulsion systems, plus experience with CAD/CAE and MATLAB/Simulink. Strong communication and remote collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in aircraft systems engineering.
• Expertise in avionics, hydraulics, electrical, propulsion; CAD/CAE/MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience in systems integration, requirements management, and V&V.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for remote work.
• Familiarity with SACAA, EASA, FAA standards
