Placements24 seeks a remote Aircraft Systems Technician specializing in Electrical systems to support operations from Soweto and beyond. You will perform remote diagnostics, troubleshoot electrical and avionics, and guide on-site teams using advanced remote tools.

The ideal candidate has FAA A&P with Avionics endorsement or EASA Part 66, at least five years of hands-on experience, and proven ability to analyze diagnostics and provide repair guidance while documenting all activities.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant certification such as FAA A&P with Avionics or EASA Part 66.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience as Aircraft Electrical/Avionics Technician.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical systems and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform remote diagnostics and troubleshooting of aircraft electrical and avionics systems using specialized software and remote access tools.
• Provide expert technical support and guidance to on-site maintenance teams via phone, video conferencing, and digital platforms.
• Analyze system performance data, fault codes, and diagnostic reports to identify root causes of electrical issues.
• Develop repair recommendations and detailed procedures for on-site technicians to follow.
• Document all remote diagnostic activities, findings, and support provided.
• Stay updated on new aircraft electrical systems, diagnostic technologies, and relevant regulations.

Requirements
