Placements24 is seeking an Aircraft Performance Analyst for a fully remote role supporting a global aviation services provider. You will analyze aircraft performance data to optimize fuel efficiency, emissions, and safety, working with flight operations and engineering teams worldwide.

You should have a strong mathematical background, 4+ years in aviation data analysis, and proficiency in Python, R or MATLAB. The role offers flexible hours and a competitive benefits package for a remote position.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Aerospace/Mechanical/Math).
4+ years in aircraft performance or flight operations analysis.
Strong understanding of aerodynamics and flight mechanics.
Proficiency with Python, R, MATLAB or similar.
Experience with flight data analysis software.

Responsibilities

Collect, process, and analyze aircraft performance data from flight records and logs.
Develop models to predict aircraft performance including fuel burn and climb/descent profiles.
Identify opportunities for fuel efficiency and cost reduction.
Monitor KPIs related to flight operations and fuel consumption.
Collaborate with flight operations, maintenance and engineering teams.
