Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to oversee remote maintenance operations in George, Western Cape. You will lead a distributed team of engineers and technicians, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with data, manuals and regs.

The role emphasizes remote leadership, schedules, and digital record-keeping across the fleet. A strong AME license and 7+ years of maintenance experience, including 3+ in supervision, are required.

Qualifications

• AME license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 7 years in aircraft maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations, airworthiness directives, and maintenance best practices.
• Proficiency with aircraft maintenance software and digital record-keeping systems.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of aircraft maintenance personnel remotely.
• Ensure all aircraft maintenance is performed in accordance with approved data, technical manuals, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor maintenance schedules, track progress, and manage resources to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to maintenance teams, troubleshooting complex issues as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance performed, including component replacements and inspections, utilizing digital systems.
