Samancor Chrome Ltd. is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations remotely. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, ensure airworthiness, and manage schedules from a remote location.

The ideal candidate holds an AME license, has 7+ years in aircraft maintenance with 3+ in supervision, and demonstrates strong leadership and compliance with aviation regulations. This role offers a fully remote arrangement and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

Must hold valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license or equivalent.
Minimum 7 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, airworthiness directives, and best practices.
Proficiency with aircraft maintenance software and digital record-keeping systems.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate remote maintenance activities of aircraft personnel.
Ensure maintenance complies with approved data, manuals, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor schedules, progress, and resources to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to maintenance teams.
Maintain detailed digital records of maintenance, inspections, and replacements.
