Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician Lead to join their fully remote team. You will oversee a global group of remote technicians, ensure airworthiness and safety across diverse aircraft types, and drive continuous improvement from a remote setting.

You will lead maintenance planning, standardize procedures, review records, and collaborate with operations and engineering to resolve technical issues.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold an AME license or equivalent (EASA Part-66 or FAA A&P).
• Minimum 8 years in aircraft maintenance with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a remote team.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, safety management, and QA.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage a team of remote Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, providing direction, technical support, and performance feedback.
• Develop and implement standardized maintenance procedures for efficient and compliant aircraft upkeep.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to aviation regulations, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Oversee scheduling and execution of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting complex issues remotely.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using digital systems.
• Coordinate with flight operations and engineering to resolve technical discrepancies and ensure aircraft availability.
• Conduct remote inspections and quality assurance checks on workmanship.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across stakeholders via virtual channels.
• Identify training needs and support professional development of the team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance processes and technologies.
