Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s global aviation team in a fully remote capacity. You will ensure airworthiness, reliability, and safety across a diverse fleet from your home office.

Strong technical leadership and cross‑timezone collaboration are essential to succeed. The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, a valid AME license, and deep knowledge of engines, structures, and avionics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in aircraft maintenance and engineering.
• AME license or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and engines; able to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on aircraft systems, including engines, avionics, hydraulics, and structures.
• Perform complex troubleshooting and repair procedures on aircraft, adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize aircraft availability.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts, labor hours, and test results.
• Collaborate with flight operations and engineering to resolve technical issues and implement service bulletins.
