Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician Lead to join their fully remote team. You will oversee a global group of remote technicians, ensure airworthiness and safety across diverse aircraft types, and drive continuous improvement from a remote setting.

You will lead maintenance planning, standardize procedures, review records, and collaborate with operations and engineering to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

• Must hold an AME license or equivalent (EASA Part-66 or FAA A&P).
• Minimum 8 years in aircraft maintenance with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a remote team.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, safety management, and QA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of remote Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, providing direction, technical support, and performance feedback.
• Develop and implement standardized maintenance procedures for efficient and compliant aircraft upkeep.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to aviation regulations, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Oversee scheduling and execution of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting complex issues remotely.

Requirements

• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license or equivalent certification (e.g., EASA Part-66, FAA A&P).
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and repairing complex aircraft systems on various aircraft types.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a remote work environment.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations, safety management systems, and quality assurance principles.
• Proficiency in using digital maintenance management systems (e.g., AMOS, SAP AMOS, TRAX).
