Placements24 is seeking a Remote AI Platform Engineer to design and manage scalable AI infrastructure. You will build and automate ML pipelines, deploy models, and optimize cloud resources across AWS, Azure, or GCP in a distributed, remote-friendly team.

The role requires 3+ years in software engineering with a focus on infrastructure or MLOps, proficiency in Python or Go, and experience with containerization and IaC tools. A strong communicator working independently is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in software engineering with focus on infrastructure, cloud computing, or MLOps.
• Experience with Python or Go and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AI infrastructure and platforms.
• Develop and automate ML pipelines including data ingestion, training, and deployment.
• Implement and manage CI/CD processes for AI models and services.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization for AI workloads on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of AI services.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to understand infrastructure needs.
• Implement MLOps best practices including version control, testing, and monitoring.
• Document platform architecture and operating procedures.
