Placements24 is seeking an Agricultural Technology Specialist to provide remote technical support and implementation guidance for our suite of farm management software and precision agriculture tools. This role is crucial for ensuring our clients can effectively leverage technology to enhance their farming operations.

You will work closely with growers, agronomists, and sales teams to troubleshoot issues, provide training, and assist with the integration of new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in technical support or implementation, preferably within the agricultural sector.
• Familiarity with farm management software, GPS technology, sensors, and data analytics platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support to clients for farm management software, IoT devices, and precision agriculture equipment.
• Assist clients with software installation, configuration, and data integration.
• Develop and deliver online training sessions and documentation for new and existing users.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, collaborating with development teams to resolve complex problems.
• Advise clients on best practices for utilizing agricultural technology to improve efficiency and decision-making.
