Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Agronomist Specialist to join our innovative agricultural technology team. This fully remote role supports farming operations across regions, providing expert advice and data analysis to optimize crop management, soil health, and yield.

You'll work independently with cutting-edge tools, develop tailored management plans, and share best practices via webinars and educational content for farmers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or a related agricultural field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in agronomy, with a strong understanding of plant physiology and soil science.
• Proficiency in using agricultural software, data analysis tools, and remote sensing technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical information.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert agronomic advice and support to farmers and clients remotely via digital platforms.
• Analyze soil samples, weather data, and crop performance metrics to develop tailored management plans.
• Recommend optimal fertilizer, irrigation, and pest management strategies to maximize yield and minimize environmental impact.
• Stay abreast of the latest agricultural research, technologies, and best practices to inform recommendations.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to test and validate new crop varieties and farming techniques.
• Create educational content and host webinars for farmers on various agronomic topics.
