Placements24 are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to lead a distributed, fully remote software delivery team. You will guide sprints, backlogs, and continuous improvement while championing Agile best practices in a virtual environment.

The role requires strong facilitation and coaching skills, plus practical knowledge of Scrum and Kanban, and proficiency with Jira and Confluence. A CSM certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with product owners and development teams.
• Remove impediments and obstacles hindering the team's progress, ensuring smooth sprint execution.
• Track project progress using Agile metrics and tools, providing transparent reporting to stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment, promoting Agile values and principles.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile processes and practices within the organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master.
• Deep understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience managing projects within a fully remote setting, utilizing virtual collaboration tools effectively.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
• Proficiency in Agile project management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification is required.
