Job summary

Southwestern Talent, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist based in South Africa to support a U.S.-based organization. You will handle vendor payments, invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and maintain accurate financial records, using cloud-based systems.

Ideal candidates have strong accounting fundamentals, excellent English communication, and the ability to work with U.S. hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma or certificate in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 3+ years in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable or Finance roles.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, Dynamics 365).

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Generate and apply customer invoices, monitor aging, and collections.
• Reconcile accounts, assist with month-end close and accruals.
• Collaborate with U.S.-based teams to improve processes and ensure US policies.
